Because mental wellness is a mindset
Mental wellness is now the absolute core competence of the healthy lifestyle.
We live mental wellness, which is why it is a central part of our offer and means that, in addition to classic wellness with a dreamlike Bali and Swiss stone pine spa, well-being, experiencing nature and doing nothing, we are positioning ourselves towards yoga and flow.
Not because it's a trend, but because it makes sense and because we want to make your vacation with us as sustainable as possible. We don't just want you to come home relaxed, but recharged with positive energy and lots of input that will have a lasting impact on your life.
Yoga
On a physical and emotional level, we offer a yoga program in our new yoga shala on the third floor with an absolutely breathtaking mountain and lake panorama that caters to the needs of different levels in its diversity.
Flow
On a mental-emotional level, we focus on flow, the state in which you can achieve many times more with a fraction of the energy expenditure, regardless of whether it is personal, professional or whether the relationship with your partner or children currently demands it.
Alexander Springenschmidt, host and managing director of the hotel, is an expert in the DACH region and, in addition to a variety of workshops and courses, also offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in this topic in fireside chats.
Ice bathing
We have the lake on our doorstep, and that's an absolute joker. Sabine and Alex jump into the lake almost every morning and are happy to take you with them!
Diving from the wellness area into the cold water in just a few steps and then straight back into the warmth, well, we would almost say it's your own fault if you don't take advantage of it.
Physically, ice bathing and cold bathing strengthens the immune system, promotes blood circulation and accelerates regeneration after physical exertion. Mentally and emotionally, ice bathing helps to reduce stress and increase mental resilience.
Mental Wellness Retreats
Apart from yoga sessions, flow workshops, and fireside chats with Alex, we offer retreats in which we address the majority of mental wellness-related topics. It simply feels good to spend a few days with like-minded people and not have to worry about anything except your own well-being and inner serenity, surrounded by the ingenious offerings of our hotel.
Mental Wellness - Facts
Mental wellness refers to the state of emotional and psychological well-being in which a person is able to use their mental and emotional resources to meet the daily demands of life in a healthy way. It is about finding a balance between the different aspects of life and recognizing and fulfilling one's own mental, emotional and social needs.
An important part of mental wellness is the ability to deal constructively with stress, challenges and difficult situations without letting them severely affect your overall well-being. It also includes the ability to develop a positive self-image, maintain healthy relationships and lead a lifestyle that provides joy, fulfillment and meaning in life.
Key components in mental wellness are:
- Self-awareness: a good understanding of one's own thoughts, feelings and behavior patterns. The ability to self-reflect and recognize what is doing you good or harm.
- Stress management: Dealing with everyday stresses in a healthy way. This includes relaxation techniques, such as meditation or yoga, and recognizing when you need help.
- Emotional resilience: The ability to overcome setbacks and difficult phases in life and emerge stronger.
- Social support: Building and maintaining supportive relationships that promote well-being.
- Self-care: Regular activities that are good for your body and mind, such as getting enough sleep, eating healthily and exercising.
- Positive mindset: A focus on positive thoughts, even during difficult times, and the ability to develop optimism.
Mental wellness is dynamic and individual - what works for one person may be less helpful for another. It is therefore important to find methods and strategies that suit your own lifestyle and personal needs. This is exactly what the fireside chats and subsequent workshops with Alex are designed for.
In a world that is often characterized by stress and rapid change, mental wellness is increasingly recognized as the key to a healthy, fulfilling life, which we can absolutely confirm.
