Behind us the forest, in front of us the lake. Absolute peace and quiet. We have been a place of joie de vivre and serenity since 1905. Our guests appreciate the relaxed atmosphere in a unique location with the most sun directly on the lake. In winter, snow is guaranteed in the middle of the ski area, in summer it is pleasantly fresh, surrounded by pine trees, hiking paths and trails.

Bali meets Swiss stone pine - because we lived there
Hosts Sabine and Alexander spent almost twenty years in Bali before returning home with two Balinese girls in their luggage and taking over the family business in Europe's largest Swiss stone pine forest. They bring a Far Eastern touch to the Nockberge, honest, authentic and wonderfully relaxing.

We attach great importance to our cuisine. Organic, local, regional, every course also purely plant-based, gluten- and lactose-free, in combination with a selective wine list that covers the whole of Austria and our neighboring countries. Our dining room is uniquely located directly on the lake!
We open our trattoria "Pinsa e Vino" at lunchtime. You can sit in the warmth or enjoy the sun directly on the jetty with pinsa, shakshuka, a selection of healthy salads and, of course, traditional dishes from Styria and Carinthia.

We have been around since 1905 and as a family-run hotel we preserve tradition and live modernity - for five generations now we have been able to call the Turracher Höhe our home and the domicile of our guests.
